Federal Government Relations Director

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive federal government relations strategy to advance the company's public policy goals.
  • Lead and oversee federal lobbyists, strategy, and contract execution and communications.
  • Coordinate facility visits by Members of Congress and strategically assess and place corporate, market, and other leaders in roles with numerous federal and national trade association committees and boards.
  • Develop and execute federal political giving strategy and lead and update daily, bi-weekly, and quarterly reporting to Senior Leadership Team.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree Required in relative field. Master's Degree preferred.
  • Seven to ten years of relevant work experience, including federal legislative, regulatory/agency, trade association, corporate, or campaign experience focusing on issues relevant to hospitals or healthcare delivery.
  • High level of competence with business software, including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Strong written communication skills and excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and oversee multiple tasks.
