The Legal Counsel, Corporate Governance & Sustainability will provide strategic support and legal guidance on corporate governance and sustainability matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Board of Directors and its committees by coordinating meeting materials and governance documents.
  • Assist in preparing proxy statements, annual shareholder meetings, and related governance actions.
  • Advise on cross-functional initiatives integrating newly acquired entities into the company's governance framework.
  • Monitor corporate governance best practices, regulatory, and legislative developments.
  • Work cross-functionally to support global legal entity operations, including formation, merger, and dissolution processes.
  • Provide legal counsel on sustainability-related matters, including environmental regulations, sustainability goals, and social impact initiatives.
  • Monitor emerging sustainability laws, standards, and frameworks.
  • Review and advise on sustainability disclosures, including sustainability reports.
Requirements
  • Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
  • 4-5+ years of relevant work experience.
  • In-house and/or big law firm experience.
  • Knowledge of general corporate law and corporate governance best practices.
  • Experience with legal entity management.
  • Knowledge of global sustainability laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Ability to apply problem-solving skills and excellent judgment.
