About the Department:
The Department of Pathology is a cornerstone of the Stanford School of Medicine and ranks among the premier departments in the nation. Role Responsibilities:
The Human Resources Coordinator will provide clerical and administrative support to the HR team, requiring excellent communication skills in a vibrant work setting. Key responsibilities include:
- Responding to inquiries and determining appropriate actions.
- Serving as a liaison between HR and employees to ensure effective communication and resolution of issues.
- Compiling and updating employee records in both digital and physical formats.
- Assisting with scheduling, organizing, and facilitating candidate communications, interviews, and onboarding processes.
- Supporting HR Associates and Generalists with report preparation and data management.
- Maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information and exercising discretion in all matters.

Qualifications:
We are looking for candidates with:
- Experience in scheduling and strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and general office software.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with sound judgment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal abilities.
- Capacity to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities.
- An associate degree and two years of relevant experience or equivalent education and experience.

Physical Requirements:
Regular desk-based computer tasks, frequent sitting, and occasional standing or walking may be required. The role may involve working in environments with exposure to bloodborne pathogens and hazardous materials.

Working Conditions:
This position may require hybrid work arrangements and occasional work outside standard office hours.
