Job Title: Senior IT Technician

Job Summary

The Senior IT Technician will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our clients' IT systems, providing timely and effective resolution of technical issues, and collaborating with our sales team to deliver pre-sales and post-sales support. Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to clients via phone, email, and web portal, ensuring courteous and timely resolution of issues.
  • Configure and provision new hardware and software, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Prioritize and manage incidents and service requests, meeting defined SLAs and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Perform hands-on fixes, including hardware repairs, software installations, and network configuration.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to deliver pre-sales and post-sales support, including site surveys, proposals, and technical assessments.
Requirements
  • College diploma or university degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience with an IT Managed Services Provider (MSP).
  • Experience with desktop and server operating systems, including Windows 7, Windows 10, Server 2008, Server 2012, Server 2016, and Mac OS.
  • Minimum of five years' experience configuring, troubleshooting, and repairing networking equipment, Windows servers, and workstations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work in a client-facing environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to work at a high level and provide exceptional customer service.
