Job Summary:


Reporting to the Director of Site Acquisition, the Wireless Facilities Acquisition Project Leader is tasked with overseeing a Site Acquisition Project for the establishment of new wireless infrastructures or enhancements to existing ones.

This role involves managing site acquisition teams to meet market goals for clients by coordinating both internal and outsourced resources engaged in the project.

The Project Leader collaborates with the market and clients to assess feasibility, timelines, and the scope of acquisition efforts.

Additionally, the role focuses on setting priorities and objectives for project outcomes, including budget constraints and scheduling, while ensuring timely completion of milestones as stipulated in client agreements.

The Project Leader will also cultivate and sustain client relationships, often across multiple markets.

Supervise site acquisition projects, including the identification, due diligence, surveying, leasing/licensing, zoning, and regulatory submissions for wireless facilities.

Develop, implement, and uphold standardized procedures for tracking deliverables and updating market trackers.


Facilitate the effective flow of information regarding site acquisition, permitting, and construction among the Site Acquisition team, market project managers, and clients to ensure a seamless operational process.

Collaborate with site acquisition personnel, managers, clients, and legal teams to address business and legal approval challenges.

Assess current processes and propose enhancements to boost the efficiency of the Site Acquisition program, including overall operations, technology utilization, and targeted recruitment strategies.


Oversee quality control, data entry, and tracking of Site Candidate Packages, Collocation Applications, License/Lease Agreements, and other Site Acquisition documentation.

Coordinate and schedule site visits and technical team engagements with various departments.


Ensure the proper coordination of due diligence activities, including title searches, environmental assessments, regulatory reports, lease exhibits, and engineering plans necessary for zoning and building permit approvals.


Guarantee that handoff packages to construction vendors are processed promptly and accurately to minimize disruptions in construction timelines.

Manage the preparation and updates of site status reports/databases.


Act as the escalation point for clients while actively participating in all site status calls, meetings, and reporting as required.

Oversee all financial aspects of projects, including target margins and performance metrics.

Establish and implement internal reporting mechanisms using deployed software tools to enable senior management to quickly assess project status.


Engage with Site Acquisition, Zoning, Field Engineering, A&E Consultants, and general contractors to develop quality wireless sites efficiently and cost-effectively.

Collaborate with A&E firms to synchronize all aspects of zoning and construction documentation.

Possess a general understanding of the requirements for submitting building applications, construction drawings, and utility needs.

Ensure that permitting, inspections, and code compliance are completed as necessary for each assigned project.


Monitor and report on project performance by ensuring full utilization of tracking tools and reports, attending progress meetings, and engaging directly with personnel and management for feedback.

Successfully lead the team to achieve organizational goals and objectives.

Report on all aspects of team performance and implement corporate strategies and alignment.

Required Education and Experience:
A Bachelor's Degree or 5 years of relevant work experience.

Excellent computer/reporting skills, including a high level of proficiency with MS Excel and other database/project management tracking tools.


Expected compensation includes $90k to $95k as an annual salary and benefits including medical, vision, and dental coverage, along with a 401k retirement plan available for eligible employees.

Compensation offered may vary based on factors such as education, training, experience, skills, geographic location, seniority, merit, and other job-related factors consistent with business needs.
