About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. RF Design Engineer to join our Wireless Hardware R&D team at Capgemini Engineering. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, modifying, and handling activities for specific products or groups of products from product definition and planning through production and release.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Projects and Develop New Products: You will lead projects and develop new products, support existing products, and improve processes, specifically related to RF and communication design.
  • RF Circuit Design: You will lead RF circuit design from concept to production for low-cost wireless communications product-line – complete radio transceiver design and layout including RF PA, LNA, RF filters and matching, synthesizers, VCO's, and mixers.
  • RF Circuit Measurements: You will conduct RF circuit measurements using laboratory spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, network analyzers, etc.
  • Design Verification: You will verify that designs meet requirements through analysis, simulation, and measurement. Compare results to theory and document results.
  • Field Studies and System Test Activities: You will carry out field studies and system test activities.
  • Design and Project Support: You will provide design and project support in the areas of project leadership, regulation, reliability, and component selections. Provide technical support to factory, service, and other internal departments. Coordinate and verify the work of support staff (technicians and CAD Designers).
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 Years of Related Industrial Experience: This position requires a minimum of 5 years of related industrial experience. Must have an in-depth understanding of electronic circuits, RF circuits, and microwave theory.
  • RF System and Wireless Communication System: Must have a good understanding of RF system and wireless communication system.
Nice to Have
  • FCC Certification and Advanced Modeling and Simulation: Experienced with FCC certification. Experienced with advanced modeling and simulation. Experienced with communication theory and digital signal processing is a plus.
