Responsibilities:
We are currently seeking a Superintendent who is passionate about construction. We value innovative problem solvers and leaders. Our field team is empowered to manage projects autonomously.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Oversee all daily field operations to ensure site safety, construction progress, quality control, and site cleanliness.
2. Develop a thorough understanding of project strategies and commitments, including financial objectives, scheduling, logistics, phasing, milestones, and inspections.
3. Maintain an accurate and updated project schedule that reflects changes in project status and meets cost and time requirements.
4. Foster effective communication with the project team regarding changes in work, job conditions, subcontractor relations, and any deviations in project direction.
5. Promote positive relationships by engaging fairly and expertly with all subcontractors and vendors, instilling this philosophy within the project team.
Qualifications:
3-5+ years of experience as a Project Superintendent with a reputable General Contractor or Construction Manager.
Ability to manage 1-3 smaller projects simultaneously in the renovations sector.
Strong communication skills and a desire to grow within a dynamic organization.
Additional Role Specific Skills:
Demonstrated ability to manage the entire construction project management cycle profitably while maintaining strong client relationships.
Experience in construction trades is advantageous but not mandatory.
