Job Summary

As the Director of IT Third Party Portfolio Office, you will be responsible for optimizing operational and financial performance of the technology portfolio across the IT organization. You will establish day-to-day governance, performance management, and intake, and be accountable for processing labor, services, materials, maintenance, and support agreements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop quantitative analysis and reporting on third-party partner operational and financial performance and define requirements for Procurement IT metrics
  • Validate performance against contracts, including Statement of Work's
  • Engage in and resolve performance issues via corrective actions, problem-solving, and action plans
  • Foster long-term partnerships to ensure IT's constantly evolving technology, skills, licensing, and support requirements are met
  • Ensure IT compliance with Sourcing, Legal, Security, Audit, and all other appropriate standards
  • Partner with Strategic Sourcing to ensure optimal sourcing decisions with a focus on cost, quality, and alignment with IT goals
  • Work closely with all parties, including Sourcing, to develop strategies, including technology rationalization/optimization and contract rationalization
  • Develop Visual Management tools that allow leadership to have deep insight into partner performance, spend, compliance, and other key metrics
  • Implement and ensure tight controls and governance for IT third-party spend and on-time delivery
  • Drive Cross-functional Collaboration and strong stakeholder engagement/communications
  • Manage, track, and ensure IT contract renewals are completed timely, identifying efficiencies aligned with PG&E financial goals
  • Engage and Partner with the IT Team responsible for the Managed Service Contract utilizing offshore partners for IT services
  • Engage as required in market analysis, trending, value assessment, and business requirements for alternative location strategies
Requirements
  • B.A./B.S. degree in Business, Computer Science, or Engineering or related subject or equivalent work experience in related field
  • 10 years of experience in IT and business with a broad range of exposure to various technical environments and business segments
  • At least 3 years in leadership role
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and influence others
  • Experience managing complex operational processes
