Job Title: Valuation/Analytics Director

Primergy Solar Management LLC is a leading developer, owner, and operator of solar PV and battery storage projects in North America. We are seeking an experienced Valuation/Analytics Director to join our team and contribute to the growth of our business.

Job Summary:

The Valuation/Analytics Director will be responsible for managing financial modeling and analysis for our growing portfolio of solar and energy storage projects. This role requires intimate knowledge of project development fundamentals, comparative and market data, and capital market activities related to renewables.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead project analysis for Primergy's portfolio of solar and storage development projects to support development strategy, off-take negotiations, and other development decisions.
  • Develop and manage rigorous processes around project financial analysis and input gathering/auditing to ensure consistency across the portfolio and flag potential risks and opportunities.
  • Coordinate with the Project Finance team to ensure inputs and assumptions align during the entire project development and design processes.
  • Manage updates of financial modeling tools and processes to keep current on inputs and develop ad-hoc financing tools as necessary.
  • Stay abreast of issues impacting projects and develop and maintain successful reporting internally and to investors of changes in project valuation.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, quantitative economics, mathematics, or other quantitative discipline or combination of education and experience.
  • 10+ years of professional experience in a quantitative renewables role, with a large portion of that time spent in project finance, project valuation, or other analytical roles.
  • Experience managing and developing a team.
  • Advanced Excel financial modeling skills.
  • Detailed technical understanding of renewable energy tax equity and debt financing structures.
