The Corporate Finance Team at RTI is in search of a Senior Financial Analyst. This position will play a crucial role in facilitating the budgeting process and other financial planning initiatives, offering analytical insights on significant matters, crafting presentations for stakeholders, and providing additional analytical support as required. Furthermore, this role will assist in the growth, development, and standardization of RTI's dashboarding as the Oracle ERP system is integrated, while also optimizing our technological capabilities to enhance processes, reporting, and analytics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver proactive financial analysis and support management on vital business initiatives.
  • Assist in the creation of executive-level presentations.
  • Contribute to budgeting, strategic planning, and other financial activities as necessary.
  • Support the enhancement and standardization of Corporate Finance's current reporting practices.
  • Develop engaging and insightful interactive dashboards and data products that facilitate effective, data-driven decision-making.
  • Oversee and distribute monthly Power BI reports, ensuring high standards of quality, timeliness, and accuracy, while providing essential business insights.
  • Identify and implement strategies to enhance data accuracy and timeliness through automation and innovative tools.
  • Act as the Corporate Finance liaison across various departments, including Business Unit, Accounting, Finance, IT, and Contracts.
  • Facilitate the implementation of new financial policies, procedures, and systems as required.
  • Lead or participate in special projects aimed at improving financial management and operational efficiencies.

Required Skills & Abilities:

Financial:

  • Demonstrated experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A).
  • Proven capability to deliver financial analyses and present them in a digestible format for senior management and non-financial personnel.
  • Ability to provide valuable business insights.
  • Strong understanding of financial systems and the ability to generate ad-hoc reports as needed.
  • Competence in financial modeling and managing ambiguity in business scenarios.
  • Familiarity with government contracting is advantageous.

Technical:

  • Experience in developing dashboards and data products to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and other data analysis/visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Technologically adept and enthusiastic about advancing digital financial capabilities.
  • Understanding of the interplay between technology and processes.
  • Experience with Oracle systems is a plus.

  • Ability to collaborate with team members across RTI Finance to identify and implement best practices for streamlining workflows and supporting digital transformation.

  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, while maintaining a comprehensive perspective.

Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field with 6+ years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 1+ years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

The anticipated salary range for this role is between $84,000 and $104,000. This range reflects national averages and may vary based on location, internal budget, business needs, and the applicant's education and experience.
