Position Overview
We are looking for a Senior Fire Safety Engineer to take charge of diverse Fire Safety Engineering projects across various sectors including industrial, commercial, and facilities management. This role offers the chance to oversee fire safety design on a wide array of stimulating and rewarding projects, both nationally and internationally.
Project Scope
Projects range from extensive industrial and pharmaceutical developments to smaller-scale local renovations, addressing a comprehensive range of fire safety needs.
Work Flexibility
This position supports a flexible work arrangement, allowing for in-office, hybrid, or fully remote work options.
Essential Qualifications
+ Professional Engineer (P.E.) License in Fire Protection or Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
+ Proven experience in designing fire suppression systems, including automatic sprinklers, standpipes, fire pumps, and clean agent systems.
+ Strong ability to draft specifications for fire protection systems.
+ Familiarity with the International Building Code, FM Global standards, and NFPA regulations.
Key Competencies
+ Leadership skills.
+ Proficient in project management.
+ Excellent communication abilities.
Work Environment
This role is designed to be remote-friendly, ideally suited for candidates in the West Coast timezone, but we welcome applicants from other regions as well. Occasional travel may be necessary.
