Fire Protection Technician

The Safety Team Inc is a local company providing fire protection services since 1983. We are seeking enthusiastic, self-motivated individuals with experience and certifications on Fire Sprinkler Systems and/or Fire Alarm Systems to join our team.
We provide support and training to meet individual goals to succeed in the fire protection industry. Our team performs service, inspections, repairs, and small installations of fire sprinkler systems, fire alarm systems, and special hazard systems.
Applicants must have the following certifications:
- NICET Level 2 for I&T of Fire Alarm Systems and Seattle FD FA1 Certification
- Active L&I 06 Limited Energy journeyman license.
And/or
- NICET Level 2 for I&T of Water-Based Systems and Seattle FD AS3 Certification
- WSP ITT and Journeyman fitter certifications.
Additional Seattle Fire Department certifications and/or BackFlow preventer license are a plus.
Requirements
- Valid WA state driver license with insurable record
- Compliance with WA State vaccination requirements
- Ability to work full-time schedule Monday-Friday 7:30 am - 4:30 pm
- Strong organizational skills, positive attitude, and ability to learn quickly
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
Additional Requirements
- Overtime may be required with short notice
- Ability to lift/move equipment and tools weighing up to 50 lbs
- Participate in the mandatory On-Call program
