Job Overview

At AAA Fire Protection Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fire Sprinkler System Technician to join our team. As a key member of our Sprinkler Service Division, you will be responsible for servicing and inspecting, testing, maintaining, repairing, and replacing water-based sprinkler systems and apparatus for our current and new customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled sprinkler service work and specialty testing in accordance with manufacturers' recommendations and jurisdictional requirements.
  • Provide technical support to other division technicians and serve as a resource for customers regarding local fire code requirements.
  • Set and meet clear expectations with customers, including educating them on local fire code requirements and the operation of sprinkler systems.
  • Procure, carry, and secure products and parts needed for jobs prior to scheduled dates and times.
  • Monitor and maintain proper working order of company tools and equipment.
  • Record time in company-provided time and attendance software and maintain all job and customer-related notes, deficiencies, invoices, and compliance test reports in company-provided software.
  • Monitor and report issues with company vehicle operation and notify direct supervisors of any equipment breakdowns or malfunctions.
  • Comply with and enforce safety requirements while on company property and at customer sites.

Requirements:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Attention to detail, with high standards for accuracy and follow-through.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Hold and maintain applicable distributor manufacturer and jurisdictional certifications, including AS-3, WSP Journeyman License, and WA-ITT.
  • Ability to work overtime and outside standard business hours to accommodate customer needs.
  • Ability to regularly lift up to 75 lbs.
  • Hold and maintain a valid driver's license and a driving record that meets Company requirements.
