Job Title: Technical Project Manager

Job Summary:

At Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center, we are seeking a Technical Project Manager to join our IT Project Management Office. As a Technical Project Manager, you will be responsible for driving important IT projects in support of our goal of improving outcomes for patients by increasing access to the latest innovative care and clinical resources.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the development of project scope, schedule, and budget for multiple projects
Manage and communicate key performance indicators for project cost, scope, and timeline
Coordinate work intake, project resourcing, and facilitate the end-to-end project lifecycle for multiple cross-functional projects within the IT department
Partner closely with IT leadership, business stakeholders, and technical teams to develop and implement high-quality IT solutions using appropriate methodologies
Collaborate with technical and functional teams to build practical implementation plans for retiring or upgrading legacy systems and reducing technical debt

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Minimum of 3 years IT project management experience
Experience with project management tools, methodologies, and best practices
Proven technical project management skillset based on industry standard practices
