At McKinstry, we're innovating the waste and climate harm out of the built environment and creating lasting impact. We're seeking a talented Plumbing Project Engineer II to join our team as a member of our Engineering and Design division.

Key Responsibilities
  • Document project correspondence, issues, decisions, and directions.
  • Learn and follow McKinstry Engineering standards and procedures.
  • Contribute to tasks on multiple projects and timelines concurrently.
  • Manage own workload to deliver assigned tasks on time and in the budget.
  • Identify training, coaching, and support needed to complete assigned tasks.
Design and Engineering Expertise
  • Competent in plumbing systems design, including calculations, pipe materials, equipment selection, and multi-discipline coordination.
  • Perform engineering calculations, design, and drafting tasks.
  • Produce design drawings and building information models for construction.
  • Pursue an understanding of the technical foundation of design activities and decisions.
Requirements
  • 4-6 years of experience in a related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline required or equivalent work experience required. Onsite construction experience considered and welcome.
  • In-office work preferred but we have a flexible work approach.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite required.
  • Knowledge of Revit preferred. Knowledge of other CAD/BIM tools welcome.
  • Engineering in Training Certificate required.

The pay range for this position is $39.20-$62.31 per hour; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This is a non-exempt role and will be paid hourly. A bonus may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered. Base pay information is based on market location.
