Your organizational and interpersonal skills will be essential in creating a memorable dining experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities
The core duties of this position encompass, but are not limited to:
- Welcoming guests upon arrival and bidding farewell as they leave, ensuring a delightful dining experience.
- Collecting guest information and accurately communicating wait times when tables are not immediately available.
- Distributing menus to guests, addressing initial inquiries, and highlighting special menu offerings.
- Handling phone inquiries regarding the menu and restaurant operations, as well as taking messages when necessary.
- Monitoring table status and keeping track of clean, dirty, and occupied tables.
- Engaging with guests to guarantee their satisfaction throughout their visit.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of menus at the host station.
- Managing table assignments efficiently.
- Promoting retail merchandise, such as apparel and accessories.
- Processing takeout orders, if applicable.
- Ensuring restroom facilities are clean and well-stocked during your shift.
- Performing additional tasks as assigned.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Possession of a valid Food Handlers Card.
- Exceptional communication skills, both in-person and over the phone.
- Ability to read, write, and determine wait times in accordance with company protocols.
- Strong organizational capabilities and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Familiarity with workplace safety practices.
- Capability to provide reliable transportation to and from work.
- Understanding of restaurant etiquette.
- Basic proficiency in reading and writing in English.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- Availability to work flexible shifts as required.
- Good physical stamina to remain active throughout the shift.
