Job Overview

Core Duties :
The Security Loss Prevention Associate plays a vital role in supporting the Loss Prevention Supervisor. This position involves monitoring daily operational activities within the Distribution Center.

The Associate is tasked with alerting the Loss Prevention Supervisors regarding any irregularities that may affect Loss Prevention and the overall operations of the Distribution Center.

The Associate will report directly to the Loss Prevention Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Assist and collaborate with the Loss Prevention Supervisor, Inventory personnel, and senior management in identifying various forms of loss within the Distribution Center.
  • Monitor daily activities within the Distribution Center and report any unusual occurrences to the Loss Prevention Supervisors.
  • Review CCTV footage and access control systems to gather evidence of theft, mishandling of company assets, and other security breaches. Conduct basic investigations into incidents of employee dishonesty.
  • Perform physical security inspections and tours of the facility and trailer yard, identifying unsafe practices and vulnerabilities in the security program to ensure compliance with physical security standards.
  • Facilitate ongoing loss prevention, safety, and shrinkage awareness initiatives for all staff and management.
  • Ensure adherence to policies and procedures; report unsafe conditions and actions to the relevant personnel; maintain logs and prepare necessary reports. Execute additional duties as assigned.
What Qualifications and Experience You Should Have :

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Associate's Degree or equivalent experience in a related field.

  • Ability to self-motivate, follow through on assigned tasks, and adapt to varying job responsibilities.
