Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Billing Specialist to join our team. As a Billing Specialist, you will play a critical role in reviewing and verifying all documentation related to a customer's vehicle purchase, ensuring accuracy and compliance with our guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Examine contracts to ensure conformity to specified requirements
  • Review and verify all paperwork and deal jackets to ensure compliance with our guidelines
  • Review deals in the deal queue for errors and verify all documents are signed and completed accurately
  • Process paperwork in a timely manner and reconcile schedules
  • Post new and used deals to accounting books and issue checks for lien payoffs
  • Communicate and resolve any issues with the Accounting Manager
  • Perform other duties as assigned by your direct supervisor

Requirements

  • At least 2 years' experience working in a busy office environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a team-oriented environment
  • Automotive accounting or CDK experience preferred
  • Ability to understand deadlines and apply the appropriate sense of urgency to all tasks
