Operational Risk Supervisor Job Description

MissionSquare Retirement is seeking an experienced Operational Risk Supervisor to join its Corporate Affairs team. As a key member of the risk management team, you will play a critical role in identifying and mitigating risks that could impact the company's operations and reputation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Risk Identification and Mitigation: Collaborate with business leaders to identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Internal Controls Validation: Lead the periodic validation and testing of internal controls to ensure they are operating effectively.
  • Risk Assessment and Reporting: Conduct risk assessments and develop comprehensive reports to inform executive management and the Board of Directors.
  • Team Leadership and Development: Coach and mentor a team of risk management professionals, providing guidance and support to help them grow in their careers.
  • Industry Best Practices: Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and make recommendations for improving the company's risk management and compliance programs.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in risk management, including risk assessments, risk tracking and reporting, controls evaluation and validation, and fraud investigation.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
