Position Overview:

The City of Lake Stevens is seeking a dedicated Facilities Maintenance Supervisor to oversee a team of Maintenance Workers and Facility Maintenance Technicians. This role is essential in ensuring the upkeep and functionality of various city infrastructures, including streets, buildings, and surface water facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team in performing maintenance, operations, and repair tasks on city properties.
  • Respond to emergency situations and adverse weather conditions to maintain accessibility and safety.
  • Plan and delegate work assignments while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and city policies.
  • Conduct inspections and oversee the operation of maintenance equipment and tools.
  • Provide training and guidance to team members to enhance their skills and adherence to safety standards.
