Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team at Versova Inc. in a leadership role. As a Master Industrial Technician, you will be responsible for coordinating and carrying out daily maintenance operations for our processing facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform high-level maintenance on industrial machinery, including automation, mechanical, electrical, and conveying systems, using manufacturer recommendations, blueprints, and company SOPs.
  • Identify root causes of mechanical and electrical issues and perform repairs, including welding, fabricating parts, plumbing, electrical, or replacing defective components.
  • Diagnose and conduct overall conveyor maintenance on schedule as required.
  • Coordinate, sustain, improve, and develop new Preventative Maintenance plans on all processing equipment.
  • Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, PLC, software, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures.
  • Analyze, report, document, and communicate maintenance issues to the maintenance manager.
  • Responsible for maintaining adequate tools and supplies for necessary repairs and maintenance.
  • Assist other technicians in the performance of maintenance activities and/or providing training/guidance.
  • Participate in and promote our safety culture by following safe work practices.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Prefer an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in industrial maintenance or a related field, or 2-year additional trade or technical school education for maintenance, mechanical, welding, HVAC, or electrical.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • Previous leadership experience required.
  • Maintenance experience in the food, poultry, or agriculture industry is a plus.
  • Strong skills in diagnostics, advanced electronics, electrical testing devices, PLC programming, software, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Reading and comprehension skills necessary to read, understand, and follow blueprints, schematics, drawings, SOPs, and other written instructions or work details.
  • Strong time management, operational, and analytical skills.
  • Strong problem-solving, project management, and planning skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with coworkers and management.
  • Able to work effectively with outside contractors and other contacts when necessary.
  • Strong work ethic, honesty, team-oriented, and moral character.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with safety/equipment such as LOTO, harnesses, lanyards, hoists, and PPE is a plus.
  • Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holiday hours as required based on production demand.
  • Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull 75+ pounds.
  • Expect walking, climbing (ladders and stairs), standing, and sitting for long periods of time, and able to work in tight spaces.
