Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on production equipment, buildings, and other facilities
  • Conduct preventive maintenance activities to minimize downtime and ensure optimal equipment performance
  • Making emergency repairs and completing tasks as requested by the supervisor
  • Ensure all work is carried out in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to company policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with the production department, engineers, and other technicians to identify and resolve technical issues
  • Maintain the quality and safety standards of parts and repairs
  • Report any abnormal situations and take necessary measures to prevent equipment failure

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance tasks on a variety of equipment, including Tig Welding, Welding/Fabrication, Fiber Glassing, Piping Layout/Installation, and General Labor
  • Work with the maintenance supervisor to plan and schedule work orders, ensuring timely completion and minimal disruption to production
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed, including parts used and time spent on tasks
  • Participate in meetings with the supervisor and plant management to discuss maintenance procedures, work methods, and safety protocols
  • Collaborate with colleagues to identify and implement process improvements

Requirements

  • Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school
  • Four years of related experience and/or training in maintenance and repair
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures and regulations
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
