Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Machining Specialist to join our team at Express Employment Professionals. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and programming advanced CNC milling machines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct first-off and regular quality control inspections of machined parts to ensure adherence to specifications and quality standards.
  • Plan machining time by reviewing work orders, prints, engineering plans, and material specifications.
  • Oversee the operation of multiple machines and set up/break down machining centers as needed.
  • Maintain equipment in good working order through regular preventive maintenance and fluid level checks.
  • Notify supervisors of any machine-related issues or problems.
  • Train and oversee junior machine operators to ensure they meet quality and production standards.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of shop practices and experience with manual mills, saws, sanders, drills, and other shop equipment.
  • Ability to use precision measuring tools, such as micrometers and calipers.
  • Familiarity with stainless steel materials and ability to lift 50 pounds.
  • Demonstrated expertise in CNC machining and ability to program HAAS & FRYER CNC Mills.

About the Role:
