CNC Machine Technician

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machine Technician to join our manufacturing team at MICROBEST INC. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong background in mechanical engineering and experience working with CNC machines.
Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year
About the JobAs a CNC Machine Technician, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to manufacture precision parts and products. Your technical knowledge and problem-solving skills will play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality production and efficient workflow.
Key responsibilities include:
- Machine Setup: Preparing and configuring CNC machines for operation, including installing and adjusting tools, dies, and other components.
- Programming: Developing and editing machine code using CAD and CAM software to dictate machine actions.
- Operation: Operating CNC machinery to produce parts, monitoring operations, and making adjustments as needed.
- Quality Control: Inspecting and measuring finished products to ensure they meet specifications.
- Maintenance: Performing routine maintenance on CNC machines, including cleaning, lubricating, and making minor repairs.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnosing and fixing problems with CNC machines, working with engineers or other specialists as needed.
- Safety Compliance: Ensuring all operations comply with safety regulations and company policies.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in operating CNC machines, including understanding G-code and M-code.
- Knowledge of machine setup, calibration, and maintenance.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Experience:
- Hands-on experience with CNC machines, either from previous employment or training programs.
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving mechanical or software issues in CNC machinery.
