We are seeking a skilled CNC Machine Technician to join our manufacturing team at MICROBEST INC. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong background in mechanical engineering and experience working with CNC machines.

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year

About the Job

As a CNC Machine Technician, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to manufacture precision parts and products. Your technical knowledge and problem-solving skills will play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality production and efficient workflow.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Machine Setup: Preparing and configuring CNC machines for operation, including installing and adjusting tools, dies, and other components.
  • Programming: Developing and editing machine code using CAD and CAM software to dictate machine actions.
  • Operation: Operating CNC machinery to produce parts, monitoring operations, and making adjustments as needed.
  • Quality Control: Inspecting and measuring finished products to ensure they meet specifications.
  • Maintenance: Performing routine maintenance on CNC machines, including cleaning, lubricating, and making minor repairs.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnosing and fixing problems with CNC machines, working with engineers or other specialists as needed.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensuring all operations comply with safety regulations and company policies.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in operating CNC machines, including understanding G-code and M-code.
    • Knowledge of machine setup, calibration, and maintenance.
    • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Experience:
    • Hands-on experience with CNC machines, either from previous employment or training programs.
    • Experience in troubleshooting and resolving mechanical or software issues in CNC machinery.

    • Good problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.
    • Excellent manual dexterity and physical stamina for operating machinery.
