Experienced CNC Machinist Wanted for High-Tech Manufacturing Facility

We are seeking an experienced CNC machinist to join our team in a high-tech manufacturing facility. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining complex CNC machinery, ensuring high-quality parts are produced efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, and program HAAS & FRYER CNC Mills, with a focus on precision and accuracy
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure adherence to specifications and quality standards
- Plan and manage machining time, reviewing work orders, prints, engineering plans, and material specifications
- Oversee multiple machines, including set-up and break-down of machining centers
- Maintain equipment, performing preventive maintenance as scheduled and monitoring fluid levels
- Collaborate with engineers and management to achieve high-quality parts, meeting specifications and deadlines
- Respond to urgent orders and prioritize tasks accordingly
- Train and supervise machine operators, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should possess:
- Strong knowledge of shop practices and proficiency in using shop tools and equipment
- Ability to use measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and other precision instruments
- Familiarity with stainless steel and other materials
- Knowledge of manual mills, saws, sanders, drills, and other shop equipment
- Physical ability to lift 50 pounds
