Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Behavioral Health Engagement Specialist to join our team at Advanced Behavioral Health. This role involves representing the organization in a positive and professional manner, adhering to best practices, guidelines, policies, and procedures established by ABH.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Deliver MDFR services on-site at DCF locations, in client homes, or in other community settings.
  • Participate in DCF case consultation and service planning meetings.
  • Bi-lingual Spanish/English proficiency is preferred, with expertise working with Hispanic youth and families, and experience in the substance use field.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher, with several years of experience working in the substance use treatment field.
  • Must become fully certified as an MDFR Specialist, typically within 9-12 months.
  • Maintain ongoing quality assurance activities after certification.
  • Comply with current State of Connecticut and federal health and vaccine requirements.
  • Attend annual Conflict of Interest training.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Demonstrated knowledge of engagement services, substance use, mental health services, and community resources.
  • Experience with recovery and the stages of change.
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, safe driving record, and willingness to transport clients.
  • Proof of car insurance with minimum coverage of $100,000/$300,000/$100,000.
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to work on multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent PC skills, including Microsoft Office Package (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook), and internet proficiency.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Salary Information:

The estimated salary range for this position is $65,000-$80,000 per year, based on industry standards and location factors.
