About the Role

The Fiduciary Services Governance Manager is responsible for overseeing the management and execution of key fiduciary services governance activities associated with various fiduciary committees associated with Citizens' Delaware limited purpose trust company as well as those of the Bank consistent with expectations of the Bank's trust powers.


Key Responsibilities
  • Committee Secretariat: Serve as the secretariat to the various fiduciary service governance committees that support the Delaware limited purpose trust company and Citizens Bank, N.A.'s governance committees.
  • Guidance and Support: Provide guidance and support to activities that require the oversight of specific governance bodies associated with delivery of fiduciary services to ensure best practices are met. Develop and maintain appropriate materials and records associated with corporate governance best practices and our fiduciary service operating procedures.
  • Coordination and Collaboration: Coordinate with other Citizens Private Wealth colleagues and teams involved in fiduciary services to ensure best practices are met. Accurately interpreting and applying regulatory, legal, and business line requirements.
  • Risk Mitigation and Improvement: Proactively assess fiduciary service governance activities for improvement and risk mitigation. Participate in regulatory exams and internal reviews and audits, with a specific focus to support successful exams/audits.
  • Business Growth and Retention: Partner with Citizens Private Wealth and CFG colleagues to achieve business growth and retention goals.
  • Colleague Development: Participate in the training and development of colleagues involved in fiduciary service governance activities.

Requirements
  • Executive Communication: Proven ability to develop executive ready communications and presentations.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced Microsoft Office skills, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Coordinating and Facilitating: Experience coordinating routines and facilitating meetings.
  • Communication and Relationship Management: Superior communication skills (verbal and written) and strong relationship management skills.
  • Personal Drive and Initiative: Demonstrates strong personal drive, individual initiative, a sense of urgency, and responsiveness.
  • Organization and Time Management: Well organized and able to manage competing priorities and deadlines with minimal management oversight.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Ability to effectively collaborate with others in different locations, departments and reporting lines.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Fiduciary Services Experience: Experience in fiduciary services (trust administration) corporate governance and operations desired.
  • Education and Certification: Bachelor's degree preferred, 3+ years of experience in financial services preferred, CTFA certification a plus.
