Senior Manager, Client Experience

Weber Shandwick is seeking a seasoned Senior Manager, Client Experience, to join our Tech and Corporate practices on the West Coast.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering exceptional client experiences, with a strong background in B2B communications, project management, and earned media expertise.

The successful candidate will serve as a primary day-to-day client contact, providing tactical counsel, managing workflows, leading projects, and anticipating the needs of the client and team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Serving as a key day-to-day player in the fast-growing West Coast and North America technology practice
  • Contributing to the strength of the West Coast and North America Corporate practice
  • Leading client communications with supervision from manager and reliably representing the agency to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Generating story ideas and topic angles, drafting media relations materials, and pitching media to land earned coverage
  • Tracking the status of account activities and taking a lead role in proactively sharing updates with clients
  • Assisting in account budgeting recommendations and ongoing tracking
  • Serving as a role model to team members and delegating tasks as appropriate while remaining accountable for outcomes

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A BA or BS in communications or a related field
  • 6-7 years of related communications experience
  • Experience in the technology sector, ideally enterprise technology
  • Exceptional judgment when working with team members, client contacts, and partners
  • Strong hands-on, rubber-meets-road skills with the ability to organize projects and operate multi-faceted programs
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with clients and internal team members across multiple levels
  • Strong time management skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changes
  • Demonstrates potential to lead multiple accounts and interact with senior-level clients
  • Desire and ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
