Job Summary

This position is exclusively available for currently enrolled students at Clayton State University who qualify for federal work-study. It serves as the initial point of contact for students, faculty, and visitors, necessitating a professional demeanor in all interactions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welcome and assist students, faculty, staff, and visitors upon entering the office.
  • Perform receptionist duties and clerical tasks, including:
    • Copying, collating, and stapling documents as needed.
    • Managing multi-line telephone calls (transferring calls, checking messages).
    • Faxing documents and filing paperwork.
    • Sorting and distributing departmental mail.
    • Preparing documents, spreadsheets, and databases under the guidance of office staff.
    • Conducting web research as required.
