Job Summary

As a General Manager with ESA Management, LLC, you will oversee the daily operations of a single property, ensuring optimal performance and continuous improvement in key performance indicators. You will coordinate and direct staff, manage hotel operations, and achieve profitability, guest satisfaction, and efficiency while maintaining company standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure associates drive company initiatives and promote a 100% commitment to guest satisfaction
  • Maximize revenues and flow-through to GOP to meet or exceed budgeted EBITDA
  • Manage labor standards and property-level expenses to achieve maximum flow-through to the bottom line profit
  • Monitor collection of in-house guest balances and direct bill receivables, commission payments by vendors, and issuance of refund checks
  • Participate in monthly inventory of supplies and equipment, ensuring purchases are within budget and by approved vendors
  • Work with the District Manager and Regional Director of Field Sales to manage all sales activities and meet revenue objectives
  • Identify and seek out potential business in the local market, maintaining relationships with local companies and key people to increase the company's visibility
  • Promote 100% guest satisfaction throughout the property, instilling the objective to AGM and hourly associates
  • Ensure all guest-related issues are resolved in a manner consistent with the company's goals and objectives
  • Recruit qualified applicants, train employees in accordance with company standards, and communicate all policies and procedures to the entire staff
  • Inspect and document repairs and cleanliness of the property with the AGM to ensure optimum upkeep and repair, room cleanliness, and overall property appearance
  • Build solid client relationships in the District and with Managers and staff at each assigned hotel
  • Uphold and enforce ESH standards and policy compliance at the hotel level

Compensation

Pay ranges for the position are as follows:

For Colorado, Washington, California, applicants only: General Manager GMA - $53,000 - $76,000 Annually

For New York City (Whitestone) applicants only: General Manager GMA - $57,000 - $87,000 Annually
