Estimated Salary

$31.75 - $41.95 per hour based on experience and location.

About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Electronics Technician/Field Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of full-time experience working with electronic, mechanical, and/or shipboard systems, as well as strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair electronic, mechanical, and/or shipboard systems
  • Provide technical advice and guidance on RF theory, spectrum management, and system configuration
  • Evaluate software systems and troubleshoot hardware and software problems
  • Work with electrical/mechanical engineers for stress/electrical/mechanical calculations
  • Prepare and revise drawings for systems, parts, or equipment from sketches or marked-up prints

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of full-time hands-on experience in installation, troubleshooting, repairing, and/or testing of any one major shipboard system/equipment
  • Active Secret Clearance required
