We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team at Embassy Suites Boston Marlborough. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience during their stay.
Key Responsibilities- Greeting and Registration: Greet guests immediately with a friendly and sincere welcome, using a positive and clear speaking voice, and respond to their requests in a timely and efficient manner.
- Front Desk Operations: Complete the registration process by inputting and retrieving information from our computer system, confirming pertinent details, and promoting our hotel's marketing programs.
- Cash Handling and Credit Card Processing: Verify and imprint credit cards for authorization, handle cash, make change, and balance an assigned house bank.
- Communication and Problem-Solving: Promptly answer the telephone using positive and clear English communication, input messages into the computer, and retrieve messages to communicate to guests.
- Guest Satisfaction and Conflict Resolution: Close guest accounts at time of check-out, ascertain satisfaction, and negotiate compromise in the event of dissatisfaction.
- Teamwork and Adaptability: Remain calm and alert, especially during emergency situations and heavy hotel activity, and work collaboratively with other team members to ensure exceptional guest experiences.
- Education: High school diploma preferred.
- Experience: Prior hospitality experience preferred.
- Skills and Abilities: Basic mathematical skills, ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers, and ability to access and accurately input information using a moderately complex computer system.
