Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a Community Manager for our Easy Living community in Lawrence, KS. This role is essential for overseeing the daily administration, operations, and personnel management of the manufactured home community, ensuring efficiency, professionalism, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage the daily collection of rents and fees.
  • Address delinquent accounts and manage eviction processes in compliance with state laws.
  • Recruit, train, and lead onsite staff to meet operational deadlines.
  • Exhibit leadership through effective communication and professional conduct.
  • Conduct regular inspections of community grounds and homes to ensure high standards of appearance.
  • Delegate tasks to maintenance staff using the Maintenance Work Order system.
  • Maintain accurate records of lead information and guest interactions.
  • Process invoices and manage financial records efficiently.
  • Ensure accurate employee documentation and payroll processing.
  • Review and analyze operational reports to identify and resolve discrepancies.
  • Handle emergencies and mechanical issues promptly, ensuring safety for residents and staff.
  • Oversee the refurbishment of community-owned homes.
  • Foster positive relationships with residents and address their needs effectively.
  • Coordinate marketing and promotional activities for available homes.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • 2-3 years of experience in property management with demonstrated leadership abilities.
  • Strong skills in customer service, communication, and organization.
  • Detail-oriented with the capacity to multitask and solve problems.
  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel and Outlook; experience with MRI is a plus.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Valid driver's license is required.
  • High School diploma or GED is mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits:
This full-time position offers competitive compensation along with commissions. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, life insurance, and a 401K plan.

Work Schedule:
  • 8-hour shifts
  • On-call responsibilities
