Job Summary

The Floor Supervisor will play a crucial role in managing store operations and ensuring a seamless customer experience. This individual will be responsible for supervising store staff, maintaining a safe and clean work environment, and implementing company programs and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service:
    • Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
    • Proactively assist customers in finding products and solving problems.
    • Ensure all customer interactions are positive and courteous.
  • Store Operations:
    • Supervise and coordinate store operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and cash handling.
    • Ensure a safe and clean work environment by maintaining store appearance, adhering to safety protocols, and reporting any hazards or incidents.
    • Assist with daily maintenance, including cleaning, stocking, and receiving merchandise.
  • Inventory and Merchandising:
    • Assist with receiving, stocking, and maintaining inventory levels.
    • Ensure accurate and timely cycle counts and negative on-hand reports.
    • Participate in merchandise resets and visual merchandising to maintain a visually appealing store environment.
  • Leadership:
    • Lead by example, demonstrating a positive and professional attitude in all interactions with customers and staff.
    • Assist in training and developing store staff, including providing feedback and coaching.
    • Participate in store meetings and contribute to the development of store initiatives and programs.
Requirements:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Previous retail management experience preferred, with a focus on hardware or similar industries.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, and climb stairs.
Compensation:

$18.00 per hour.
