Clinical Operations Manager, Cardiac Care Unit

As a pivotal leader in our organization, you will be accountable for the strategic development and execution of programs aimed at enhancing the orientation and competency evaluation of non-physician clinical personnel. Your role is essential in fostering a consistent clinical workflow and ensuring exemplary patient care standards. You will assess performance, provide constructive feedback, mentor staff, and spearhead educational initiatives while collaborating with Infection Prevention (IP) departments to oversee the Environment of Care (EOC).
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assess the educational and professional growth needs of nursing personnel, designing and delivering specialized training programs. Facilitate educational events and workshops for staff and the broader community.
2. Develop and implement quality enhancement initiatives for clinical education and care environments. Collaborate with staff to identify necessary interventions for effective workflow adaptations.
3. Analyze patient and staff performance metrics to evaluate the quality of care provided.
4. Partner with senior management, interdisciplinary teams, and other stakeholders to create, implement, and assess programs and services aligned with organizational goals.
5. Address workplace challenges to cultivate a supportive and productive environment.
6. Maintain and update clinical and administrative protocols by drafting and revising policies and procedures.
7. Ensure a safe and hygienic workplace by establishing and enforcing operational procedures, standards, and regulations.
8. Safeguard patients and staff by formulating and enforcing infection-control guidelines and medication management protocols.
9. Foster teamwork within healthcare groups by sharing information, responding to inquiries, building relationships, and engaging in collaborative problem-solving.
10. Undertake additional related responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications
Required:
1. Bachelor's degree in Nursing or a related discipline.
Preferred:
1. Master's degree in Nursing or a relevant field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of clinical and management experience in an outpatient setting or a comparable area.
3. Current BLS certification and a valid nursing license.
