Job Description

Global Dimensions is a HUBZone, service-disabled, veteran-owned small business based in Fredericksburg, VA. We are a dynamic, expanding company with exciting opportunities in language/culture, training/education/instruction, IT, cyber security, and intelligence (analysts, CI, HUMINT, SIGINT, etc.).

We are seeking a highly experienced Program Manager to oversee the overall management and performance of all task orders in Africa. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the project remains on time and on budget, and will serve as the primary point of contact to the Government in Africa.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day tasks associated with the project, ensuring timely completion and effective resource allocation.
  • Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets to meet organizational goals.
  • Act as a liaison between the project team, Global Dimensions senior management, and the project customer or stakeholder.
  • Submit required trackers and rosters to the prime on the appropriate due dates, and maintain regular communication with the prime.
  • Ensure employees complete annual training, certifications, and other requirements.
  • Prepare and present progress reports to stakeholders, highlighting project achievements and areas for improvement.
  • Effectively coordinate multiple projects, managing different participants, mitigating challenges, and working to achieve the desired outcome of the contract and the company.
  • Predict resource needs to reach objectives and manage resources in an efficient manner.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, tracking costs and providing regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Manage projects with vendors and suppliers, assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables.
  • Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout project execution.
Requirements
  • Must have a Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and 15+ years of program management experience.
  • Five years of directly related experience managing projects valuing at least $10,000,000 involving equipment procurement and training in an austere environment.
  • Management experience serving as the highest-ranking company official deployed in-country and responsible for a given project.
  • One or more years' experience working in sub-Saharan Africa.
  • DLPT 3/3 in French.
  • Knowledge of Government contract policies and procedures.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and thrive in a complex environment with multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Experience working with customer objectives and company goals.
  • Self-motivated and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working OCONUS (Africa) and/or on AFRICAP or ACOTA programs is highly desirable.
  • PMP and/or ITIL certification desired.
