Job Summary

Avid Technology Professionals, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team. As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical assistance and support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Support: Provide Tier I and Tier II technical support to clients, including troubleshooting, diagnosis, and resolution of technical issues.
  • Problem Identification and Resolution: Identify and resolve technical problems in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring minimal disruption to clients.
  • Communication and Escalation: Communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders to resolve technical issues, and escalate complex problems to senior technical staff as needed.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze technical data and provide regular reports to management on technical issues and trends.
  • Equipment Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on technical equipment as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: 6+ years of directly relevant experience in technical support and escalation.
  • Skills: Strong technical skills, including experience with M365, Call Distribution Systems, Red Hat, Microsoft Windows, VMware, and SharePoint.
  • Certifications: ITIL certification and DoD M Compliance at IAT Level I.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Agile Environment: Experience working in an Agile environment.
  • Experience with ITIL Methodology: Experience with ITIL methodology.
  • Experience with Shell Scripts: Experience with shell scripts, including Bourne, C, Krone, Bash, and Perl.
  • Experience with Networking and Security: Experience with TCP/IP, Cisco switches and routers, VLAN, firewall, VPN, and storage arrays.
