Job Summary:

As an Executive Sous Chef at Wynn Resorts, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of culinary excellence are maintained across our catering operations. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the success of our esteemed organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and maintain Encore Boston Harbor's core values and property standards in all catering operations.
  • Develop and execute short- and long-term departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures to drive business growth and excellence.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of Sous Chefs, Banquet Chefs, and other catering staff to ensure seamless execution of events and high-quality food service.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef and other senior culinary leaders to drive menu innovation, quality control, and cost management.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and regulatory requirements in catering operations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Executive Sous Chef in a high-volume catering environment.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including chefs, servers, and event planners.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
