General Labor Position in San Francisco

Salary: $20-$40 per hour
We are seeking dedicated Section 3 Workers to join our team in San Francisco. This role is essential for supporting various construction projects.
Eligibility Criteria:To be considered for this position, candidates must reside in San Francisco and meet one of the following qualifications:
- Public housing resident.
- HWS Section 8 voucher recipient.
- Participant in a Youth Build program.
- Must be a resident of San Francisco.
- Execute a range of manual labor tasks, including digging, lifting, carrying, and moving materials.
- Assist in the setup and teardown of equipment and structures as required.
- Safely operate various hand and power tools.
- Adhere to instructions and guidelines to complete tasks within set time frames.
- Maintain a tidy and organized work environment, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Help load and unload materials, supplies, and equipment from delivery vehicles.
- Support skilled tradespeople by performing basic tasks as directed.
- Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of tools and equipment.
- Follow all company policies and safety protocols.
- Promptly report any safety issues or incidents to the supervisor.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience as a General Laborer or in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy objects regularly.
- Proficient in the use of basic hand and power tools.
- Ability to follow directions and work both independently and collaboratively.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and supervisors.
- Basic knowledge of workplace safety practices.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
- Dependability in adhering to work schedules.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing tasks and priorities.
