Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Electrical Engineer to join our team at the Knolls Atomic Power Laboratory site in Niskayuna, New York. As an Electrical Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work with our design team and be responsible for reviewing calculations, design drawings, and technical specifications for building construction and site infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Review calculations, design drawings, and technical specifications for building construction and site infrastructure projects
- Perform construction inspections and participate in production meetings
- Develop and review construction cost estimates and perform evaluations
- Interface with facility sponsors, architect & engineering firms, and contractors
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in engineering or science related field; or Master's degree from an accredited college or university in engineering or science related field
- BS degree or higher in Electrical Engineering
- Prior experience in the consulting engineering field
- Familiarity with Codes (National Electrical Code and New York State Building Code)
