Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Chemist and Chemical Engineer to join our Steam Plant Chemistry team. In this role, you will solve problems associated with cleanliness control in Naval nuclear steam plants, perform trials, tests, and/or experiments, and collect, analyze, and interpret data from various sources.
Key Responsibilities:- Solve problems associated with cleanliness control in Naval nuclear steam plants.
- Perform trials, tests, and/or experiments to support engineering, production, and/or R&D activities.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data from various sources.
- Develop technically and economically sound recommendations and prepare comprehensive documented observations, analyses, and interpretations of results.
- Develop and recommend new processes and technologies to achieve cost effectiveness and improved product quality.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in engineering or science related field.
- Master's degree from an accredited college or university in engineering or science related field.
- Proficiency at reading fluid system drawings.
- Ability to work in a cross-functional and cross-site team.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong performance record of leading complex work efforts to a successful and timely conclusion.
