Nuclear Engineer for Steam Generator Design

Fleet & Manufacturing Support is seeking a Nuclear Engineer to join our team in designing a steam generator as part of a VIRGINIA Class modernization effort (Project VIPER). This role will be responsible for performing structural analysis in support of the development of the SG design.
Responsibilities- Design and analyze the structural and thermal hydraulic acceptability of the steam generator
- Collaborate with diverse groups across the lab, including future power plant projects and BPMI
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and reports
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or science related field and 4 years of relevant experience
- Master's degree in engineering or science related field and 2 years of relevant experience
- Currently or previously NPE qualified
- Fundamental understanding of structural analysis
- Experience with ABAQUS FEA software
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
