Job Title: Field Sales Representative

At Superior Energy, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Field Sales Representative to join our team. As a Field Sales Representative, you will be responsible for promoting our services and products to our customers in the field.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Make sales calls to promote our services and products to customers in the field
  • Visit customers to discuss their needs and provide solutions
  • Stay engaged with customers to monitor their needs and provide recommendations
  • Keep accurate records of sales and rental days
  • Review rig reports weekly and complete sales and inventory reports
  • Communicate with customers and company personnel to discuss any issues with rental equipment
  • Train customers on how to handle and protect our equipment
  • Verify inventory by visiting rigs before and after each job
  • Communicate and coordinate with Dispatchers for pre-loading of jobs
  • Work with administrative personnel to complete tickets and paperwork
  • Attend safety-related meetings and follow all safety regulations and guidelines
Requirements:
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and operating instructions
  • Ability to write routine correspondence
  • Ability to use basic math skills
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions provided in written, oral, or diagram form
  • Ability to meet physical requirements as defined by the company
  • Prior knowledge in oilfield rental business preferred
  • Ability to drive long distances in all types of weather
  • Basic knowledge of tubular equipment
  • Knowledge of basic office equipment and proficiency in Microsoft Suite
  • Ability to accurately complete/maintain necessary reports/records in a timely, legible manner
