Position Details

This is a full-time, on-site opportunity for a professional in Sports Management and Marketing. The Athletic Venue Operations Manager will oversee the overall functioning of The Fennec's Sports Bar and Grill, ensuring superior customer service, managing staff, and enhancing profitability. This role encompasses the execution of daily management and marketing responsibilities. Key tasks include formulating and implementing marketing initiatives, promoting sporting events, collaborating with sports teams and organizations, and engaging with patrons. The position demands exceptional communication skills, experience in sports bar management and marketing, and a genuine passion for sports.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily operations of the sports bar, including but not limited to overseeing front-of-house and back-of-house activities, as well as opening and closing procedures.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to devise and implement seasonal marketing strategies that create promotions, highlight events, and attract sports fans.
  • Recruit, train, and schedule staff to ensure sufficient coverage during peak times.
  • Uphold a high standard of customer service by engaging with guests, addressing their concerns, and resolving any issues that may arise.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
  • Excellent communication, management, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Familiarity with trends and dynamics within the sports industry.
  • Experience in sports marketing, sales, and/or sports bar management.
  • Capability to develop and implement marketing strategies.
  • A minimum of three years in Sports Bar Management or a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Sports Bar Management.
