POSITION SUMMARY:

The Event Operations Associate serves as the primary point of contact for guests, ensuring a welcoming and informative experience. This role demands exceptional guest service skills and a thorough understanding of the facility's offerings.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

Guest Services:

  • Manage event ticketing and wristband distribution.
  • Welcome guests and provide necessary information and directions.
  • Deliver courteous and exemplary service to all visitors.
  • Assist guests with registration for various programs and events.
  • Maintain knowledge of facility programs, including formats, pricing, and schedules.
  • Handle multi-line phone systems effectively.
  • Document and organize waivers and event-related information.
  • Record scores for tournaments and leagues, generating daily reports.
  • Uphold confidentiality regarding guest and team member information.
  • Address guest concerns and escalate issues to management as needed.
  • Enforce facility policies and procedures consistently.
  • Complete assigned tasks and special projects as directed by management.

Event Coordination:

  • Assist in the scheduling and coordination of facility events and gatherings.
  • Ensure all event details are executed accurately and timely, maintaining organized records.
  • Communicate effectively with managers and team members to facilitate event setup and cleanup.
  • Maintain inventory of supplies and order materials as necessary.
  • Adhere to established event processes and standards.
  • Ensure high levels of guest satisfaction through clear communication.
  • Promote facility programs through distribution of marketing materials.
  • Support marketing initiatives to enhance event visibility.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional guest service skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
  • Capacity to multitask and remain composed under pressure.
  • Respectful and friendly demeanor towards all stakeholders.
  • Team-oriented with a proactive approach to tasks.
  • Commitment to the safety and well-being of others.
  • Prior customer service and cash handling experience preferred.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
  • May require prolonged periods of standing or sitting.
  • Comfortable operating a computer and managing noise levels in a busy environment.
