General Overview:

Become an integral part of the customer-centric team at Troon Golf as an Event Staff member. In this role, Event Staff will be essential in delivering outstanding service and crafting unforgettable experiences for event participants. The responsibilities encompass, but are not limited to:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the preparation of events, which includes organizing equipment, positioning signage, and executing various assigned tasks.
  • Oversee event spaces to guarantee cleanliness, orderliness, and adherence to venue regulations.
  • Respond to inquiries and provide detailed information regarding the event, facilities, and available amenities to attendees.
  • Address guest questions, concerns, or issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with fellow event personnel, vendors, and team members to ensure seamless event execution.
  • Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards to uphold a high level of professionalism and service quality.
Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in sporting or entertainment events is beneficial, though not mandatory.
Physical Requirements:
  • Capability to remain on your feet for extended durations.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects (chairs, coolers, tables, etc.) weighing over 50 pounds.
  • Willingness to work long and demanding hours (12+ hour shifts during events).
  • Competence in assembling, disassembling, repairing, or modifying structures and utilizing various tools and equipment (including but not limited to saws, drills, hammers, nails, screwdrivers, paint sprayers, box cutters, knives, motor vehicles/trucks/golf carts, etc.).
Work Environment:

This position primarily entails working outdoors at diverse event venues. Candidates should be prepared to face varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and wind.

The work environment may expose employees to moderate to high noise levels due to event activities, crowds, and equipment operations.

Licenses/Certificates:
  • Possession of a valid Driver's License.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • An interest or knowledge in sports is advantageous, but not essential.
