Project Engineer Job Description

Milne Electric & Technologies, a leading electrical contractor in the Puget Sound Area, is seeking a skilled Project Engineer to oversee the initiation and tracking of construction documentation, manage project logs, and coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to handle multiple high-level projects, and be eager to take on challenges. This position will work out of the Milne office in Monroe, with some flexibility for remote work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials to the job site by working with the purchasing department.
  • Prepare reports, plans, and specifications for assigned projects in compliance with applicable codes, accepted engineering practices, and client project requirements.
  • Build long-term customer relationships by consistently meeting expectations and offering innovative solutions.
  • Collaborate with labor superintendents, project foremen, and office staff on projects.
  • Provide consistent feedback and reports to Project Managers.
  • Additional duties as determined by Project Managers.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree (Construction Management is preferred).
  • Electrical Contracting and Project Coordination/Management experience.
  • Must understand how to read architectural and structural drawings (Mechanical & Electrical).
  • Drafting experience with AutoCAD MEP 3D, Revit, and/or Navisworks preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills.
  • Self-starter capable of working independently and as a member of a team.
  • Estimating experience, McCormick preferred.
Compensation:

$60,000.00 to $100,000.00 per year, DOE. Potential for additional Bonuses dependent on a mutable of factors (such as Company Profitability; Division Profitability; Personal Performance).
