Position Overview

The Project Delivery Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of submetering projects for Metergy Solutions and its subsidiaries. This role encompasses resource management, project planning, design oversight, and material forecasting. The Project Delivery Manager will establish project objectives, timelines, and ensure adherence to quality control and regulatory standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of Project Coordinators, offering guidance, support, and training as necessary.
  • Plan and execute multiple submetering projects from inception to completion, including design coordination, resource scheduling, and meter installation management.
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, and timelines, ensuring projects are completed within financial constraints. Identify projects at risk of exceeding budgets and collaborate with relevant teams for necessary adjustments.
  • Communicate project status, challenges, and risks to stakeholders, facilitating project meetings and maintaining comprehensive project documentation.
  • Continuously enhance project management processes by identifying improvement areas and implementing effective solutions.
  • Oversee the commissioning of electrical and mechanical metering installations in both new and retrofit environments.
  • Provide technical analysis of drawings and electrical/mechanical systems to support contractors and internal teams during installations.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations for all projects.
  • Demonstrate exceptional customer service and organizational skills while managing installation projects.
  • Develop and present progress reports and project timelines that track milestones and deliverables.
  • Evaluate metering opportunities identified by the Sales department.
  • Ensure all regulatory requirements are met for each installation project.
  • Perform additional tasks to support installation projects as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution, or a Technologist Diploma from a recognized college.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in construction project management.
  • Proven expertise in project management best practices.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, including electricity distribution and HVAC systems in high-rise and multi-residential settings.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent planning, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Adaptability to a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.
  • Professional demeanor and communication skills that positively impact customer relationships.

Working Conditions:

  • Frequent travel required.
  • Occasional overtime to meet project demands.
  • Ability to lift and transport construction meters as needed.
  • Work in environments with potential electrical hazards.
