Red Seal Operating Engineer

About the Role:
This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a skilled Operating Engineer to join our team at JLL. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and repair of building systems, including mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair facility equipment, including boilers, chillers, and pumps.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and lubricating equipment, and replacing filters and seals.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, and perform repairs as needed.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and systems to ensure they are operating safely and efficiently.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure equipment is properly maintained and to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure that all maintenance activities are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Communicate with management and other stakeholders to ensure that all maintenance activities are properly documented and reported.
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and best practices.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
- Red Seal Operating Engineer license required; Blue Seal Operating Engineer license preferred.
- Ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical systems.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
