About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Engineer to join our team at Apex Companies, LLC. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for designing and developing transportation infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design calculations and bid documents, including specifications and drawings
  • Prepare state, federal, and local permit applications
  • Perform fieldwork, including GPS data collection, infrastructure inspections, and traffic counts
  • Contribute to reports describing project objectives, methods, results, and conclusions
  • Use technical software to support transportation planning and design
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with staff and clients
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD and GIS applications, and proficiency with Microsoft 365
  • Valid Driver's License
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous intern or Co-op experience
  • EIT certification, or ability to obtain within the first year of employment
